Fear keeps the truth away from his brothers. Fear and pain keeps him away from the man he loves.

Hawks MC member Maddox “Beast” Lawson had a difficult time growing up. Tired of being ridiculed because of his effed-up brain-to-mouth connection, it was easier to say nothing at all.

Living in silence worked out just fine until that b*tch called Fate took his hearing, not only that, but she also threw him into the arms of the man who refuses to acknowledge that one hot night they shared.

Jay Conger, Knife to his brothers, loves pussy. Licking, fingering, screwing, he’ll take it any way it’s offered.

After one surprising night with Beast, to say he’s freaked out is an understatement. Hell, even bananas have taken on a new meaning, and thinking about a certain someone’s body is too much.

Unable to think straight, Knife is at an impasse, not only with his traitorous desire but with his heart.

Both lives are going to change.

Only will it be for the better?

Hear Me Out is a story about love. It's about family. It's about accepting yourself.

Beast and Knife are hard core biker, neither one of them wants to show weakness-especially when shit gets real.

Beast finds out some horrible medical news. He's suddenly thrust into a silent world and no longer knows where he fits in.

His best friend and the guy he has unrequited feelings for, has been distant since their night together. Now, Beast can't imagine facing him, let alone anyone else from the club.

Knife is confused. His best friend rocked his world, and now he's dealing with something that Knife has no knowledge of.

I read this book pretty quickly, I wasn't too fond of the writing style, but it didn't turn me off. I thought the way Beast and Knife dealt with their issues was real and done in a very tasteful manner. While there is some action and some club dealings, this book is a love story above anything else.

There are quite a few characters, since I haven't read the other books I'm assuming it would be beneficial to read the four before, but it's not necessary.

There was a part that I had predicted already, but really it made the love story that much better, seeing them in a domesticated way, seeing them learn how to live and love each other. It was sweet, if you can call badass bikers sweet.

Will I read the rest of the series? Maybe. I would like to see the full dynamics of the family the MC has built. So I might be able to see the rest of the series.
